Whether we are traveling by car or plane, maintaining a clean space is key. We make sure to have a well-ventilated carrier with washable bedding, and we avoid heavily scented products that can irritate sensitive pets. Bringing familiar blankets or toys from home can also reduce stress, which helps minimize allergy responses.

Watch the Environment
Different regions mean different allergens. If we are traveling during peak pollen seasons, we try to limit outdoor exposure during high-count times (early mornings and windy days) and moniture your pet closely. This includes wiping your pet’s paws and coat after outdoor breaks to prevent allergens from lingering.

Hydration & Nutrition Matter
Keeping your pet hydrated helps flush out irritants, and a high-quality diet can support skin health and reduce inflammation. Cold water, check! Water bowls on deck, check! 

Know the Signs
